Cleaning Up My Online Identity
Friday, January 28, 2011 at 12:03PM Over the next couple days I will be unfollowing people on Twitter and unfriending people on (my personal) Facebook if I don't actually know them. :(
At first I was totally excited about following as many people as I could, watching this "executive" family grow, but unfortunately, now my feeds are inundated with inside jokes between people I don't know, news for which I have not enough context to feel its impact, and even often updates in languages I don't understand. In the process, I'm missing news and updates that actually concerns me and even my show. :/
I know many people are super excited that I'm following them, and that's awesome, so if it's important to you that I stay your friend on facebook or twitter, please leave me a comment telling me so. Feel free! I think the people who bother commenting on this post are the ones who need to be followed the most!

Well it's totally understandable, twitter and FB are for staying in contact with people you actually know, or else what's the point? I wouldn't really mind if you unfriend me on FB cuz I still follow your work on YT, you won't get rid of me that easily ;)

Heya. I totally understand why you do that. I did that pretty often myself because the overview is simply lost. For me the friendship pretty important because I feel that we agree on a certain basis and if there would be someone I'd ask about the art of video creation it would be you. In addition I don't write too much. I figured you might be missing some of my @ messages because of the time difference, because of the lack of answers. :) so I'd like to stay friends;) Irina

I think it's cool that your following me but I understand trying to clean up your twitter. I hate having everyones stuff pop up when its not something im interested in or know about.
I added you on FB, but not because I'm a friend collector or whatever. Between Twitter and FB I like getting updates from you as often as possible as well as reading some of your more amusing posts that make my morning XDDD (though it's a bit intimidating to talk to one of my favorite authors/video reviewers, so forgive me for that haha) so I ask that you DON'T remove me from your FB, though if you already have, well...lol guess that sucks XD

I know I don't really leave a lot of comments on FB or YT, but I've been following your work/posts when you were deciding on Miyavi cosplays and the like. I thought you were a very interesting person and it was great to know that someone else in the great state of Texas had similar interests as I do: Asian entertainment, the industry, film, & now reviewing the things we feel passionate about.
